Sketch of a dress with the founder’s daughter’s hand

I want our pieces to be conversation starters at play dates. They are pieces of art in themselves - but are meant to be worn, reworn and passed down, along with the stories that they carry.

Founder’s note

I have vivid memories of my early years in Bombay, spending hours with my mum, choosing exquisite fabrics, delicate laces, and beautiful buttons — then taking them to an expert tailor to bring her designs to life. There was a culture of every garment being handcrafted, tailored, and made with care.

After moving to London and becoming a mum to my now one-year-old daughter, I felt a deep desire to introduce to her the colours and textures around the world. I want to instill in children the same love for culture and art from around the world - be it poetic Shibori from Japan, vibrant block prints from India, or intricate Ikat from Central Asia.

I believe clothing can be a gentle way to begin conversations with our children about culture, art, and the people behind the things we own.

Our collections are limited run, with exclusive, one-of-a-kind prints, and handcrafted by our artisan partner, currently in India, and soon around the world. We use GOTS-certified organic cotton where we can, always with non-toxic dyes. We’re building the best for our children.
